TERMS AND CONDITIONS
 

We reserve the right to change these Website Terms and Conditions from time to time by changing them on this page.

 

By visiting our site and/ or purchasing something from us, accessing and using the Website and Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms of service (“Terms and Conditions “).

PLEASE NOTE OUR PRICES WILL CHANGE FROM 1st March 2024.

For garden seating, please note, this is a weather dependent booking. We have a roof on our pergola which should do a good job of keeping rain out and also have plastic sides for it so that we can do even more to keep you dry! In the event of poor weather conditions, we cannot guarantee moving you to a table indoors.

 

In certain cases, promotional and SPECIAL OFFER prices apply. These prices are valid only during a specific period as long as stocks last. No entitlement to these prices may be invoked before or after the specific period.

RESERVATIONS -Before confirming your reservation, always check carefully that you have reserved the correct number of persons. Wrongfully ordered numbers of persons are not refundable.

Tables are available for three hours in your booking confirmation, after which they will be re-booked for another customer. For the events - over 20 guests, available time slot is 4 hours. Any late arrival will affect your time in your 3-hour slot (4 hours slot for the events of 20 guests and more) so we recommend arriving on time or slightly before your booking time. Please note, due to high demand; for special days (Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Easter Sunday, Father's Day, ...etc) bookings will be allocated a time slot of a maximum of 2 hours unless agreed otherwise by the management.

PREPARATION - COOKING TIME: Dear customers, all the meals are cooked fresh to order from scratch by our chefs and it can sometimes take a little longer to serve food at busy times. Preparation (cooking time) takes 20-30min from your order. At very busy times this can take up to 45min.

 

If you are running late, we kindly ask that you notify us by telephone or email at your earliest convenience. Your table will be held for 20 minutes after which time it may be allocated to another customer.

Large group bookings (of 10 and more) require non-refundable deposit (usually 25% of the entire bill) and must be confirmed by email. Private events and conferences must have agreed time slot and includes additional T&C.

Due to the large number of requests, unfortunately we cannot guarantee window tables or specific areas when taking reservations, but we will do our best to accommodate your requests. Your understanding is appreciated. Specific areas can be booked and requires non-refundable deposit (usually 25% of the entire bill)

The person who makes the booking is responsible for the payment of the entire bill and if you accidentally or deliberately walk out without paying then you agree that we can charge your card.

We accept card payments; however, we do limit card transactions to one card payment per table. For groups or larger parties we accept two card payments per group, however we cannot itemise bills.

We have a zero drugs policy and will refuse entry and give an immediate ban if anyone is caught with any drugs.

Neighbourhood

We operate in a semi residential area and ask that all our guests leave quietly and do not gather at the front of the building.

DECORATIONS- Please always ask our member of staff if you are planning to put some decorations for the celebration  or party (indoor or outdoor). Please do not use tape for the walls, it can damage our wall paint or wallpaper. We can accept balloons as a decoration which are not attached to our walls or ceiling or please use the one which has the stand. For example, the helium ones which are with weight. Banners which are attached with twine not with a tape. We can provide table decorations such as centrepieces (artificial flowers, lanterns etc...) for a small fee. Please be aware, we do not allow to put confetti on the tables. All decorations provided by customer must be removed by customer. Thank you for your understanding.

CAKES - With prior agreement with the management guests are welcome to bring birthday/celebratory cakes (sweets and treats) with them. This will involve a charge of £1 for each member of the reservation booked.

MINIMUM SPEND - EVENTS - Where indicated, a minimum spend for the function will apply. Should the minimum spend not be achieved, the deposit will be applied as the room hire charge.

SET MENU - The menu is valid only during a specific period as long as stocks last. No entitlement to these prices may be invoked before or after the specific period. Please note, Set menu offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.

£20 STEAK OFFER - Our STEAK OFFER is valid only during a specific period 26/4/2024-4/5/2024 (excluding Sunday 28th April 2024) as long as stocks last. No entitlement to these prices may be invoked before or after the specific period. Please note, this offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.

ROOM HIRE FEES (updated on 11th March 2024)- !!! - NO ROOM HIRE FEE for bookings between 5th - 30th April 2024, Monday - Friday until 6pm only.

The offer does not apply to Friday after 6pm, Saturday and Sunday bookings.  !!!

Monday, Tuesday - Open for PRIVATE EVENTS ONLY with minimum spend £500 for a time slot 4 hours.

Wednesday - Friday until 6pm -

£50 for a small room (right hand side of the bar) with max capacity of 18 guests

£100 for a large room (left hand side of the bar) with max capacity of 35 guests.

The whole indoor space (Small, large, lounge and bar area with max capacity of 65-70) is for £200 for 4 hours time slot.

Friday after 6pm and Saturday - 

£80 for a small room (right hand side of the bar) with max capacity of 18 guests

£150 for a large room (left hand side of the bar) with max capacity of 35 guests.

The whole indoor space (Small, large, lounge and bar area with max capacity of 65-70) is for £250 for 4 hours time slot.

Sunday - 

£120 for a small room (right hand side of the bar) with max capacity of 18 guests.

£200 for a large room (left hand side of the bar) with max capacity of 35 guests.

The whole indoor space (Small, large, lounge and bar area with max capacity of 65-70) is for £300 for 4 hours time slot.

(Due to Coronavirus, The Coach and Horses will hold the right to cancel bookings, due to compliance with the government guidelines, any deposit that is placed and then not possible due to Coronavirus will be reimbursed.)

We reserve the right to change a menu at any time due to suppliers low stock (shortage).

LIVE MUSIC EVENTS and ENTERTAINMET (KIDS FAMILY FUN DAYS) - we do not take responsibility for third party bookings  cancellations.

Prices include VAT at 20% and are subject to change. 

A discretionary 10% service charge is added to your bill for groups of 10 and more.
