We reserve the right to change these Website Terms and Conditions from time to time by changing them on this page.
From 17th May 2021 - For garden seating, please note, this is a weather dependent booking. We have a roof on our pergola which should do a good job of keeping rain out and also have plastic sides for it so that we can do even more to keep you dry! In the event of poor weather conditions, we cannot guarantee moving you to a table indoors.
COVID19- Social distancing in place. Customers should stay more than 1 metre apart, and take additional steps to stay safe. Please note that during the period of Government Covid-19 restrictions, some aspects of our regular service may be subject to change. These may include the time period your table may be available, maximum table sizes, closing time.
In certain cases, promotional and SPECIAL OFFER prices apply. These prices are valid only during a specific period as long as stocks last. No entitlement to these prices may be invoked before or after the specific period.
RESERVATIONS -Before confirming your reservation, always check carefully that you have reserved the correct number of persons. Wrongfully ordered numbers of persons are not refundable.
Tables are available for three hours in your booking confirmation, after which they will be re-booked for another customer. For bigger groups - over 20 guests, available time slot is 4 hours. Any late arrival will affect your time in your 3 hour slot (4 hours slot for bigger groups of 20 guests and more) so we recommend arriving on time or slightly before your booking time.
If you are running late, we kindly ask that you notify us by telephone or email at your earliest convenience. Your table will be held for 20 minutes after which time it may be allocated to another customer.
Large group bookings (of 10 and more) require non-refundable deposit (usually 25% of the entire bill) and must be confirmed by email. Private events and conferences must have agreed time slot and includes additional T&C.
Due to the large number of requests, unfortunately we cannot guarantee window tables or specific areas when taking reservations, but we will do our best to accommodate your requests. Your understanding is appreciated. Specific areas can be booked and requires non-refundable deposit (usually 25% of the entire bill)
The person who makes the booking is responsible for the payment of the entire bill and if you accidentally or deliberately walk out without paying then you agree that we can charge your card.
We accept card payments, however we do limit card transactions to one card payment per table. For groups or larger parties we accept two card payments per group, however we cannot itemise bills.
We have a zero drugs policy and will refuse entry and give an immediate ban if anyone is caught with any drugs.
We operate in a semi residential area and ask that all our guests leave quietly and do not gather at the front of the building.
DECORATIONS- Please always ask our member of staff if you are planning to put some decorations for the celebration or party (indoor or outdoor). Please do not use tape for the walls, it can damage our wall paint or wallpaper. We can accept balloons as a decoration which are not attached to our walls or ceiling or the one which has the stand. For example the helium ones which are with weight. Banners which are attached with twine not with a tape. Table decorations such as centrepieces (flowers, lanterns etc...) . Please be aware, we do not allow you to put confetti on the tables. Thank you for your understanding,

CHRISTMAS PARTIES - For better service and comfort of our customers and staff, every table of 8 and more would be required to pre-order and pay non-refundable deposit of £10 per person. This will be taken off your bill at the end of the meal.
For Christmas parties over 30 people we offer 10% discount of the food price.
CHRISTMAS DAY 2021 - Bookings for the 25th December will need to be paid FULL PRICE by the 15th December. Deposit of £10 is required at the time of booking.
(Due to Coronavirus, The Coach and Horses will hold the right to cancel bookings, due to compliance with the government guidelines, any deposit that is placed and then not possible due to Coronavirus will be reimbursed.)
We reserve the right to change a menu at any time due to suppliers low stock (shortage).
2 YEARS ANNIVERSARY offer of free arrival drink and free canapees apply for 30th October 2021 after 5pm for customers having a meal with us - 2 or 3 course menu. We do offer our A la carte menu on a day with some specials from the special board which is regulary updated and is subject to change. Arrival drinks we offer are alcoholic and non-alcoholic, please ask your waiter for non-alcoholic drink if you require one.
PHOTO COMPETITION on FB - Here is a chance to WIN a FREE 2 course meal for 2 people. To enter this competition all you need to do is to share (upload) a photo of our food taken by you on our Facebook page in comments (below our cheesecake picture). Vote for your favourite picture with LIKE. The winner is the one, who gets the most photo likes on our post there. Picture of Food means - food from our kitchen after 30th October 2019. taken by you. Winner announcement is on the 29th October 2021 at 5pm. the prize - 2 course meal for two people is valid until 31st March 2022 and does not apply to the 25th December 2021 and New Years eve 2021 (Christmas Day). As an example - there is posted picture taken by David - our talented Sous Chef - lets see how many likes he can get :)
STEAK OFFER 19th NOVEMBER after 6pm for £20 - Choose your steak from the following - 8 oz Rib eye steak, 8 oz Sirloin steak or 6 oz Fillet steak.
ALL STEAKS are served with silver skin onion, sautéed mushrooms, cherry tomatoes on the vine, chunky chips and glass of 125ml house wine or a pint of house beer / lager.
Steak offer £20 price is valid only during a specific period on the 19th November 2021 after 6pm as long as stocks last. No entitlement to these prices may be invoked before or after the specific period.
MEET SANTA 18&19th December 2021 -
1. Santa’s present includes sweets and a small toy which is not suitable for under 3 year olds.
2. Meeting Santa takes 10 minutes if one child and 15 minutes for 2 children, e.g. a sibling. Please ensure you arrive in plenty of time for your allocated time slot. If you are late we will try our best to accommodate the visit but we can make no promises.
3. There will be a 50% cancellation charge for bookings cancelled 48 hours before your visit, but no refund will be made for cancellations made for 24 hours or less.
Prices include VAT at 20% and are subject to change.
A discretionary 10% service charge is added to your bill for groups of 10 and more.
